Homemade Lobster tails

I have never tried cooking and eating lobster ever. But whenever I went to costco, I cannot skip checking fresh fish/seafood corner because all seafood ingredients just look good. Hence, today, for the first time, I give it a shot!

What we need:

  • fresh lobster tails
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • herbs - thyme and dill
  • a little bit black pepper
  • a little bit salt
  • lemon juice

How to cook:

* Preheat the oven over 450F.

1. Prepare garlic butter sauce. In the bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, and herbs.

2. Trim lobster tails. Wash them and cut the middle of upper part (I used a regular scissors). Pull out the inside and place it on the shell. See the photo below.

3. Brush garlic butter sauce on the lobster meat.

4. Cook lobsters for 20 minutes.
5. Enjoy well-cooked lobsters with biscuits.
Well-baked 😆

You two, lobster and biscuits, always make a good combination!

Iowa City Jazz Festival 2019

One of my favorite summer events in Iowa City, Jazz Festival. This year, me and my buddy had a project, walking every night for an hour. During Jazz Festival, our destination was the Pentacrest where we can chill out with amazing live music and jazzy excitement.  And we got a bonus present, fireworks! The second day of Jazz Festival, we came to the Pentacrest again and had another amazing concert night.
