[EE 304] Compliment Party - Classroom Activity

It is important to start the semester well, but it is just as important to finish it well. The meaning of ending well is probably a time to think about a meaningful ending together with the students. Looking back on the learning during the semester and the precious memories with the students I took the class with... So, the last week's activity was a Compliment Party - a discussion activity to express gratitude to the students who took the class.

As always, I get a lot of energy from the posts of the students, more than I expected. Suddenly, I thought about the answer to the question of why I like my job and give it a lot of meaning, which is to meet students with various ideas through class activities and develop each other's thoughts under the big topic of 'education'. I thought it might be because watching the movie comes with a big meaning.

So, I would like to write down the opinions of the students delivered through the activity.

"Everyone in this class has been very uplifting and helpful! There has been so much positivity and creativity. I can't wait to read the lesson plans! I know that they are going to be great and full of creative and fun ideas. Thank you all for making this a safe and meaningful environment to share thoughts and ideas."

"You always bring knowledge and great creativity to the table! I'm blessed to know you and to be on this college journey together. Also, it is so inspiring to see so many strong independent women pursuing higher education!! I'm proud of you and all of the hard work you have put in so far :) Excited that we get to make this world better together!"

"I'm glad to have had this class and everything I have learned I really enjoyed this method of learning and interacting with my classmates who all seem really nice and helpful throughout these discussion boards. I'm looking forward to the future and what it has in store for us as educators!"

Iowa City Jazz Festival 2019

One of my favorite summer events in Iowa City, Jazz Festival. This year, me and my buddy had a project, walking every night for an hour. During Jazz Festival, our destination was the Pentacrest where we can chill out with amazing live music and jazzy excitement.  And we got a bonus present, fireworks! The second day of Jazz Festival, we came to the Pentacrest again and had another amazing concert night.
